Learn the history behind kanji and how to write them using traditional calligraphy tools in this fun class. At the end of class, you will write a word or phrase of your choosing on colored paper to take home with you as a souvenir!

【DETAILS】

Learn the basic brushwork and how to write kanji. You will use authentic calligraphy tools, such as a brush, ink, and Japanese writing paper. At the end of the class, you will make your own original work that you can take home as a souvenir. 

After learning the history of kanji and some basic advice on how to write them you will practice basic brushwork. Towards the end of class, you will choose your favorite word or character. The instructor will create an example for you to follow when you are creating your own work. You will write your final copy on paperboard. You will sign and seal your own and only creation and take it home with you. Packing materials are available for use. 

Decoration scroll frame and kimono wearing add-ons are available for this package.

7 to 4 days before the tour date 40% of the tour price
3 to 2 days before the tour date 60% of the tour price
The day before the tour date, on the day of the tour 100% of the tour price
※Right after the online settlement is made, a cancellation fee of 10% will be incurred in case of cancellation.
