Winter Highlights with Snowmobiling in Levi

Overview

Start your day with a transfer to the starting point of your adventure, enjoying the beautiful snowy scenery along the roads of Levi. During the farm visit, you will get to know these wonderful animals and hear interesting stories about their lives and care. After the introduction, you will enjoy an exciting adventure with reindeer and husky sled rides, with both animals the ride is 500 meter.

Enjoy peaceful sleigh rides with reindeer and huskies! During the day, you will also have the chance to enjoy a traditional soup lunch. After that, you will receive guidance and equipment for snowmobiling.

Around one-hour snowmobile route takes you through the breathtaking wilderness of Lapland, where you can admire some of the most beautiful landscapes in the area. Children and adult without driver's license can ride comfortably in a sled under warm blankets, making the experience cozy and unforgettable for the whole family.

Young adventurers aged 4 to 12 can then try mini snowmobiling on our private track—an unforgettable experience for the little ones.

Additional information

Duration of the program about 5 hours. It is suited for adults and children over 2-year.
In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered.
The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.
Children and adults without a drivers’ license can join the safari by sitting on the sledge.
2 adults share 1 snowmobile. If the number of people in the group is an odd number, someone in the group will have to share a snowmobile with another member of the activity. Single driving is available as supplement for adults.
Children 2-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
This tour is considered an extreme sport, so we cannot accept Children under 2-year-old and pregnant participants due to safety risks caused by icy and uneven terrain.

Transfers & Prices

Transfers from/to are included from Olo Resort, Reindeer Manor Levi, Arctic Nook, Hotel Levi Panorama, and Golden Crown Levi Igloos.
If you stay at the center of Levi, you can meet your guide at our Safari Office, address is Levintie 1585. Meeting time at the Safari Office is 30-minutes before the scheduled starting time of your tour.
Pickups will start 30 minutes to 1-hour before the tour starts. Exact pickup time will be informed by email the day before. If you don´t receive this email, please contact us.
Be ready at the pick up location 5 mins before pick up time
Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded.
Child rates: children of 2-3 years are free of charge.
Children 4-13 are subject to child rates specified in the product information.
Youngsters aged 14+ are subject to adult prices.
