Snowshoeing has moved humans for thousands of years. It enables humans to get to places one otherwise couldn’t reach in winter. It’s a perfect getaway from everyday life and an experience which you’ll remember whole lifetime!

Imagine a wintery forest scenery, where snow has taken over the vegetation, and trees sparkle from the frost. Can you recognize the animals by the footprints on the untouched snow? By snowshoes you get to have a breath of fresh air without disturbing wildlife. Take a seat by the open fire and have a mug of warm berry juice while enjoying some campfire treats. On the way your outdoor guide will share with you some of its knowledge of the surrounding nature and explain the basics of how to survive in such difficult conditions. Are you ready to explore the untouched nature reservation area in Rovaniemi, Lapland?

Total duration: 3,5 hours (incl. transfers)

Program duration: 2,5 hours

What is included: Thermal clothing (overalls, shoes, gloves, hat, and woolen socks), guidance, snowshoes, and campfire treats.

Available: Tuesday and Friday at 9.30-12.00 (1.12.2023 - 30.4.2024, depending on the snow situation). 

Price: 98 €/adult and 64 €/child (4-12 years).

Transfer: 30 €/ reservation, from 1.12.2024 40 €/ reservation.

Please note: In the season 2023-24 (starting 1.12.2023) the Pick up - Drop off is not included in the price. Minimum participant number 2 persons. Please be ready about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time, thank you!

Pick-up points: Santa Claus Holiday Village around, Husky Park and Glass Resort 9:00, Hostel Café Koti around 9:10.

Meeting point: Hotel Metsähirvas at 9:30.
