Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel: Expert-Led Guided Group Tour

Accessibility and Participant Requirements

• This tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for individuals with mobility impairments or walking disabilities.
• Infants must have their seat; lap seating is not allowed.
• Infant seats are not available.
• Pets are not allowed.
• An adult must accompany children.
• Any disability or condition (mobility, visual, hearing, etc.) that may affect participation must be communicated to our staff in advance so that appropriate accommodations can be considered.

Identification and Entry Requirements

• A valid photo ID is mandatory to enter the monuments. Accepted IDs include a passport, a driver’s license, a national ID, or a student ID.
• At the start of the tour (or beforehand), you will be required to provide your full name and date of birth.
• The name on your ID must match the name in your booking information. Mismatched or missing data may result in denied entry, with no refund.

Dress Code

• To access the Vatican Museums and places of worship, a strict dress code is enforced.
  Shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women.
  Sleeveless tops, shorts, and revealing clothing are not permitted.
  Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry without a refund.

Meeting Point and Timing

• The meeting point is at the Check&Go Office, Via Sebastiano Veniero 21.
• Due to the strictly timed entries, all participants must arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start time.
• Late arrivals will not be admitted, and the tour cannot be rescheduled or refunded unless rebooked at full cost.

Tickets and Group Admission

• Access to the monuments is through group entry tickets, not individual tickets.
  Tickets cannot be provided separately from the guided tour.

Delays, Closures, and Security

• The tour start time may vary by 20 to 30 minutes due to organizational or security reasons.
• Security screenings at entrances are mandatory and may result in additional waiting times (20–30 minutes), especially on national holidays or during special events.
• Tour flow and site access may be affected by capacity regulations imposed by the monument's administration.
• Unforeseen closures of sites or areas (e.g., the Sistine Chapel or Vatican sections) may occur without notice. If the closure is sudden and outside our control, no refund will be issued.
• If notified in advance, we will offer a suitable alternative, if possible.

Behavior and Safety

• The tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to guests who appear intoxicated. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
• For your safety and the safety of others, all guests must comply with security and conduct guidelines during the tour.

It is the responsibility of each guest to provide a valid and active phone number.
We are not responsible for missed updates or instructions due to incorrect or inactive contact information.

Due to the nominal nature of the tickets, no changes can be made to the date, time, or participant names after confirmation.
