Tijuca Forest + Pedra Bonita Hiking Tour

The tour starts with a visit to Pedra Bonita mountain in the Tijuca Forest national park,where an unforgetable view of Gavea mountain, pepino, beach, São Conrado neighborhood and the national park can be contemplated. After the hike we go for a sightseeing in the park, where many different species of mammals and birds can be seen along the way. Besides seeing the local animals in their natural habitat, the drivers stop the vehicles so you can take pictures of animals and plants while the tour guides will go through some explanations about the park`s history. Stops happen at the Taunay`s waterfalls, the Chinese View , and the visitor`s center, a sort of small museum of the park. A short hike in the forest is also included.
