The Magnificent Mystery

Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis, Polar Lights: The loved and unique show of the arctic nature has many names. The emergence of Northern Lights has long been a great mystery to mankind, but thanks to advancement in science, we now have a comprehensive understanding of the origin of the Northern Lights.

We will drive to the best places around Rovaniemi; next to a lake and a hill with no light pollution where there is an excellent chance to see the Northern Lights. We are also stopping at a suspension bridge, going above a rushing river, which stays in motion despite the -30 °C degree weather and snow. If Lapland’s magic is on our side, we may admire the fascinating Northern Lights beside the ever-flowing river, while enjoying sausages and warm berry juice by an open fire. What a perfect way to end the day with arctic landscapes! A return transfer is included.

Duration: 3 to 4 hours (incl. transfers)

What is included: Pick-up and drop-off, guidance in English/Finnish, snowshoes, and campfire treats.

Available: Tuesday, Thursday + Saturday at 20:00 (1.12. - 31.3.)

Price : 149€ / adult and 94€ / child (4 to 12 years).

Attention: Please dress warmly enough for the weather. Minimum participant number 2 people, maximum 16 (with two cars). Please be ready about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time, thank you!
