Your visit will starts at Piazza del Gesù Nuovo, in the old part of the city and take a stroll through its picturesque and lively alleyways. Then you will arrive to the monumental area, taking the historic and commercial street of Via Toledo. The tour will end with a fascinating visit to the "Bourbon tunnel", one of the last underground Naples to be brought to light. An underground tunnel commissioned in 1853 by Ferdinand II of Bourbon to connect the Royal Palace with the sea. The work, in the public interest, had many difficulties in being completed, as its route crossed the cisterns of the ancient aqueducts. This is why it remained unfinished and was used by the Neapolitan people as an air-raid shelter during the Second World War. More than 200 years of history and anecdotes intertwine in this unique guided tour.
