We pick you up from your holiday home to make this easy. Just 30 minutes north of Levi, we step into a tiny wilderness village of 55 residents and 6,500 reindeer — the home village of your Soma Adventures host. This is not a staged attraction. This is everyday Arctic life.

Our first stop is our neighbour`s authentic and cute family’s reindeer farm — a working livelihood, not a tourist show. Here, you’ll meet hundreds of reindeer in their natural environment and hear real stories about reindeer herding and life in the Arctic. You can gently touch them, kiss them :D, feed them with lichen, and even walk alongside them through the snow.

Next, we head 500 metres to our family’s lakeside cabin on the shore of a frozen wilderness lake. We cross the icy lake into a snow-covered forest where there are no crowds, no noise — just you and the silence of true Lapland. With a guide born and raised here, you’ll learn about northern nature, life here, traditions, and what it really means to call this place home.

We end the experience gathered around the warm fireplace of our cozy and authentic lakeside cabin. Together, we grill sausages over the open flame and enjoy homemade pastries with a hot drink — simple, heartfelt flavors in the middle of Arctic stillness.
