Overview

Join us for an exciting Arctic experience in our Northern Lights Family-Friendly Snowmobile Safari. You'll be seated in a comfortable sledge, gently pulled by a snowmobile, as you venture into the serene snowy landscapes that Lapland is famous for.

For families with smaller children, this tour offers excitement and fun for both parents and children. During the evening excursion, we’ll venture through the enchanting snowy forest, making short stops along the way to capture the moment and swap drivers if you wish. The adults enjoy snowmobiling whilst the children enjoy the ride seated comfortably in a sleigh pulled by our guide.

Halfway we make a longer stop, where your guide will serve you warm beverages and sweet snacks, creating a cozy moment amidst the winter landscape. If luck is on our side, the Northern Lights might grace the night sky with their captivating dance.

This family-friendly adventure promises an intimate and personalized experience for a small group of no more than 8 customers. It ensures that every member of the tour receives our undivided attention and the chance to connect with Lapland’s pristine beauty on a profound level.

Please note: The driving distance depends on the driving skills of the group. You will stay outdoors for approximately 1,5 – 2 hours – the 3-hour tour time includes transfers to and from the start/finish location. Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding supplement for extra charge. Solo travellers can join the tour under the same conditions. Children travel on a sledge pulled by the guide snowmobile.

The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The driver is held liable for a flat rate of 1000 € per person in case of an accident.

Please Note

Cold weather clothing will be provided, but we recommend to dress appropriately. Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions. This experience may require a certain amount of endurance.

Hotel pick-ups commence 10 - 60 minutes prior to the start time. Your pick up time will be confirmed by email. The starting point for the safari is stated in the booking confirmation.

The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license – A1, T, A or B category (please check that it is valid in Finland). For all snowmobile tours we ask you to take your physical driving license with you.

Please note that it is strictly prohibited to drive a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The starting point for the safari is stated in the booking confirmation.
The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The driver is held liable for a maximum rate of 1000 € per person in case of an accident.
The price is per person with two people sharing the snowmobile.
