Miracle Garden Ticket

Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

B-669187
$ 25.05

Location

Dubai Miracle Garden is a flower garden in the desert, and the scale is the point: around 150 million flowers arranged into structures rather than beds. The set pieces change each season, but the fixtures include the Hearts Passage, a walkway of arched floral hearts; a working floral clock; a castle; the Lost Paradise; and Hill Top, which gives you a view back over the whole site. There are living sculptures built entirely from planted flowers - aircraft, characters, animals - and a smiling Teddy Bear that has become the garden's signature photograph. It is designed for walking and photographing, with shaded seating, cafes and a butterfly garden alongside. Allow around two hours. The garden is seasonal and closes over the hottest months, reopening in autumn, so check the operating dates when you book. Go in the morning or late afternoon rather than the middle of the day, wear a hat, and bring water - the site is largely open to the sky.

Miracle Garden is a seasonal attraction: it closes over the hottest months and reopens in the autumn, so confirm the operating dates before booking. The site is almost entirely open to the sky, so go in the morning or the late afternoon rather than the middle of the day, and bring a hat, sunglasses and water - refill points and cafes are on site. Comfortable walking shoes matter; the full circuit is a couple of kilometres of paths. Allow around two hours. Paths are flat and paved, so pushchairs and wheelchairs are manageable, though busy at weekends. Weekday mornings are considerably quieter and better for photographs. The garden is on Al Barsha South, near Dubai Autodrome, and parking is free but fills up at weekends.
