Overview

Like Worlds aeay but still so cloce. You will drive the ATVs up to the Reykjavik backyard hills where you will enjoy Extreme Adventures like in other world.

This tour have 3 different Themes depending on the seasons
In the summer time it is the Midnight Sun, the Twilight in the Spring and the Autumn time and the Northern Lights in the Winter time.
The trek is Amazing and there is good view over Reykjavik, Mosfellsbær and the Mountain that can Erupt in Reykjanes peninsula. From there, you can also see the steam from a Geothermal, Glacier Snæfellsjökull. Ask the Guide about the Alaska Lupin, Angelica Archangelica healing plants and the breeding song from the birds in the summer time. The Arctic Fox and the Ptarmigans birds in the winter time. Check out this exciting Evening Extreme ATV/Quad tour for a truly unique experience. Imagine being alone up on the mountain at midnight and it's still almost bright as a day or even sunny in the Summer time or witness that in the Winter time when the Northern Lights ignits in the sky among the billions of stars. In the peace and tranquility all you hear is your breath. Maximum bookable for 8 people or 16 by special request.

We pick-up from all hotels in the Reykjavik area if it is possible. But note that the Reykjavik city has made a non-pickup zones for tourist in the downtown so we pick up from special tourists bus stops over there. The nearest Tourists Bus stop is usually not far away.

Pickup is free but it is ok to give a little tip.

You can see on www.busstop.is the bus stop that is closest to where you are staying.

If you decide to meet us at the meeting point our basecamp is only 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik.

Two can ride on each quad and prices are per person. You must book solo ride for single riders and to book the shared ride you must be two participants.
So if there is a odd number in the group you must book at least one solo ride in the tour.

You pay as a child up to 17 years old and you need a fully valid driving licence to drive.

What do you need? Just bring your full driving license and a pair of sturdy shoes.

Food and drinks

To ensure clarity and safety, please note the following exclusions and rules:

Food & Drink: Lunch or snacks are not included. We recommend eating before you arrive.
Personal Insurance: Personal accident or travel insurance is not included. Riders participate at their own risk.
Unsafe Driving: For your safety, reckless behavior is strictly prohibited. This includes: Sliding, spinning, or drifting. Speeding or failing to follow the guide's instructions.
Off-Trail Driving: We ride on established tracks only. Driving off the marked trails is illegal in Iceland to protect the delicate nature (moss and soil) and is not permitted under any circumstances.

Logistics & Weather:

Confirmation: You will receive confirmation immediately at the time of booking.
Pickup Time: Hotel pickups start approximately 30 minutes prior to the tour departure time. Please be ready in your hotel lobby or at your designated bus stop.
Weather: This tour operates in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately for the Icelandic climate (warm layers, waterproofs).
Gratuities: Pickup and guiding are included. Gratuities (tips) are not mandatory but are always appreciated if you enjoyed the service.

Health & Accessibility:

Physical Restrictions: This activity is not recommended for travelers with back problems or pregnant travelers due to the bumpy nature of the trails.
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible.

Rules & Safety:

Driving License: A full, valid driving license is required for all drivers.
Nature Protection: We explore nature responsibly. Riding is strictly limited to safe, established tracks to protect the environment.
Safe Driving: Unsafe behavior, such as speeding or drifting, is strictly prohibited. Driving off the marked tracks is illegal.

What do I need to bring?

Essential Items:

Driving License: A physical, fully valid driving license is required for all drivers.
Footwear: Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended.

Clothing Advice (Dress for the Weather!):

Summer / Warm Days: The wind chill on the ATV can be a little cold! We strongly recommend wearing thermal base layers, a sweater (wool or fleece), and good socks.
Accessories: A thin hat and a neck warmer (buff) or scarf are highly recommended to wear under the helmet. (Yes - we are in Iceland )
Sun glasses or these eclipse glasses to see perhaps the sunspots on the surface of the Sun.

We Provide: Warm, wind-and-waterproof riding overalls, helmets, and riding gloves.
Available at Base: If you get cold easily, hand and toe warmers are available for purchase at our basecamp.
