Explore the beautiful winter scenes of Helsinki city and the archipelago! Flying high with a helicopter and low with a hovercraft showing you the city and the unique archipelago from completely new perspectives. We land on an island, where you can experience a survival suit swim, enjoy an archipelago snack or take part in a nature walk tour. On the Hovercraft safari you learn everything you want to know about the ice behaviour, wildlife and hear stories from one of the biggest archipelagos in the world. Told by the experienced locals.

Please Note
You have to be able to walk on snow and ice and on nature trails to attend this trip. Normal physical capability is requiered.
Both the helicopter and the Hovercraft can take max. 5 passengers at a time. They are both equipped with heated
cabins. The Hovercraft can safely drive over ice, open water and breaking ice. The survival suits will keep you floating whilst staying warm and dry even
when floating among ice rafts. Light lunch included is either on open campfire or served indoors depending on the location.
This trip has weather reservation due to the flight conditions. This tour is well suited for families and groups too.
This trip is of easy physical level. You can attend this tour with regular physical capabilities, although you have to be able get in and out of the boat on different piers, walk on nature paths, in nature or on cliffs on tours with island stops. Unfortunately, this tour is not designed to attend with a wheel chair for safety reasons. We can inform you in all cases about your specific requirements by contacting us by mail in advance before booking .

What do I need to bring?
Please wear good outdoor winter clothing like wool pullover, down jackets, hats and gloves, wool socks and winter boots.
You will need the wooden pullover and socks for the survival suit swim too in order to be able to stay longer in the water. A good example is downhill after ski clothing. Please do not use cotton hoodies. You can not attend in street sneakers or high heels.
If you want to try the sauna, bring your swimsuit and your towel. Do not however bring large bags as storage is very limited.
