Location
The Chu Chi Tunnels are an integral feature of a comprehensive war museum located in Ho Chi Minh City. Visitors have the unique opportunity to gain insight into the underground life of Vietnamese soldiers dating back to 1948. The site encompasses over 120 kilometers of interconnected tunnels, complete with trapdoors, living quarters, kitchens, storage facilities, armories, hospitals, and command centers. Following the conflict with the French, Vietnamese forces expanded the tunnel network and installed advanced air filtration systems, which played a crucial role in their survival during the Chu Chi carpet-bombings.
