Our Golden Circle Adventure is the quintessential tour in Iceland. Throughout the tour your guide will help you cherish the moments and take photos of you in the spectacular nature during the tour which will be uploaded to a drive where you can download your photos memories after the tour.

To start the day, you are picked up from Reykjavik by your guide who will take you on a geothermal journey through volcanic landscape and the unique Icelandic natural wonders. 

First off is Thingvellir (the Fields of Assembly) home to the Icelandic parliament, the world's oldest parliament. This historic UNESCO world heritage site is found in one of Iceland's rift valleys, a striking result of continental drift as it is the location in which you can see with your own eyes the results of the separation of the North-American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Almannagjá (the Nation's fissure) is a massive fissure, one of thousands that scar the landscape of the national park as the earth is being literally torn apart, is home to our first parliamentary assembly in Iceland (which happened in the year 930 AD). Be prepared, in this historic place you can walk from one continent to the other!

After Þingvellir we're off to Gullfoss or the Golden Waterfall. It is a breathtaking spectacle of raw natural power. Hvítá river, originating from Langjökull (the Long glacier) , runs through Gullfoss and is a thundering cascade which plunges down 32 meters into the mis-filled canyon below Gullfoss. Ever picturesque, the summer sunrays catch the swirling spray, creating rainbows that arc over the waterfall and in the wintertime Gullfoss transforms into an icy wonderland. You can hear and feel the tremble of the waterfall, it is a must-see while visiting Iceland.

Be prepared to be blown away by Geysir. This hot spring is in fine form, erupting once ever 5-10 minutes. The field of hot springs around Geysir offer more than the smell of sulfur, the landscape is often covered in mist (steam) and there are great vantage points behind the geysir that offer stunning views. One of the clearest displays of Iceland's volcanism, these geysir and hot springs are the result of underground water which comes into contact with superheated volcanic layers in the depths of the earth. Make sure you keep a respectable distance, and have your cameras ready for the next eruption!

After a lot of action, sightseeing and walking around it's time to sit down and enjoy an honest bite at the famous Friðheimar tomato farm. We have seats reserved for our groups and the food is included with your ticket, with choice between the hearty Friðheimar tomato soup and bread, pasta with homemade marinara sauce or grilled tortillas with tomato, basil and mozzarella.
