Glacier Expedition

This flight takes you from the edge of the city into a world of ice, rock, and silence. Departing Reykjavík, the route passes the vertical cliffs of Hvalfjörður and the hidden drop of Glymur Waterfall before climbing toward the Þórisjökull glacier and the high-altitude stillness of Iceland's nearest ice caps.

Along the way, the flight traces the skyline of Skjaldbreiður and the long fracture of the Þingvellir rift valley, giving you a rare aerial read of how this landscape has been shaped by both volcanic heat and glacial cold. A remote landing is included, with the location chosen on the day to make the most of the conditions.
