From Urzulei: trekking in the Gorropu canyon

Visit with us the most spectacular canyon in Europe and the most famous in Sardinia: the Gorropu Gorge! The guided path, through sections of primary forest of holm oaks and strawberry trees that survived the blows of the woodcutters in the last century, will be particularly suggestive and panoramic, among high rocky walls, Mediterranean forests and intense scents that nature will offer us. Once you reach the canyon, you will reach large white boulders smoothed by water erosion and between walls of 500 meters above us. Insured scenarios of extraordinary beauty and charm!

FURTHER INFORMATION

After the meeting with the guide, you will walk along a dirt road of about 4 km downhill until you get to Gorropu. The visit of the Canyon will be about 2 km and then return to the meeting place after about 4 km uphill. For those who do not want to make the way back on foot, at the base camp it will be possible to book and pay directly on site the transfer by Jeep.
During the experience, in some parts of the path you will walk in the bed of the Canyon among large rocky boulders of difficulty Expert Hiker (EE).
