Evening Canoe Trip

Looking for something truly unforgettable? Experience the magic of a Finnish summer evening from the water. From June to July, paddle beneath the famous midnight sun, where the sky never fully darkens. In August, enjoy equally stunning sunset tours painted in warm golden tones.

Gliding across a calm lake surrounded by untouched nature offers a rare sense of peace. The light, the silence, and the stillness of the water create a moment that feels almost unreal.

Each canoe fits 2–3 people, making this a perfect experience for couples, friends, or families.

No previous experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and a sense of calm. This is not about speed, but about slowing down and taking in the beauty around you.

🧳 Tips for a Great Tour

• Book ahead – midnight sun tours fill up fast in June–July.
• Dress smart – layer waterproof clothing; lakeside evenings can be breezy.
• Bring extras – insect repellent, a towel/swimwear if you fancy a quick dip.
• Capture the moment – the golden light is perfect for photos; don’t forget your camera or phone!

Pickups start 30 minutes before scheduled experience starting time. Choose your pickup place during reservation.

If you do not need a pickup: Arrive to the starting location at Astelin Uimaranta, Beach Pyhäntie 1634, 98530 Pelkosenniemi by the time of the scheduled start of the experience. This is where the canoes are stored for our lake trips.
