✍️ Part 1: Calligraphy Lesson with a Master Instructor

You’ll begin with a hands-on calligraphy lesson using traditional brushes and ink.
Learn to write meaningful kanji characters such as “dream,” “peace,” or even your own favorite word in Japanese.

You’ll practice and then create your own finished piece on a decorative shikishi board — a traditional square art paper — which you can take home as a personal souvenir.

Next, design a custom calligraphy T-shirt using your favorite kanji word.

You’ll have two options to choose from when booking:

1. ✨ Write it yourself – Create the brush design by hand with guidance
2. 🖌️ Have the master write it for you – Let the instructor craft a bold, artistic version of your chosen kanji

Your design will be professionally transferred onto a white cotton T-shirt using a special in-studio technique. The result? A stylish, one-of-a-kind wearable souvenir made just for you — perfect for photos, gifts, or keeping as a fashion memory.

• You will create one T-shirt and receive two shikishi art boards (one made by you, one written by the instructor with your name in kanji)
• Please let us know at time of booking if you would like to:

• The workshop takes place on the 2nd floor (stairs only)
