- Sunset Departure Time: This tour departs at approximately 4:30 PM. The exact start time varies by season based on sunset and will be confirmed after booking.
- Kayak Assignment: Single or double kayaks are assigned based on availability, safety considerations and the guide's discretion.
- Experience Level: No previous kayaking experience is required. Your guide will provide basic paddling and safety instructions before entering the lagoon.
- What to Bring: Wear comfortable clothing or swimwear that can get wet. Bring a hat, flip-flops or water shoes, biodegradable sunscreen and biodegradable insect repellent. A reusable water bottle is recommended to help reduce single-use plastics.
- Wildlife: Nichupté Lagoon is a natural ecosystem. Birds, fish and other wildlife may be observed during the tour, but sightings cannot be guaranteed.
- Weather: This tour operates only when weather and safety conditions allow. Light rain may not affect the experience. In case of heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds or other unsafe conditions, the tour may be rescheduled or canceled. If the operator cancels the tour, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.
- Meeting Point: Meet at Marina Scuba Cancun, located at Kilometer 5 of Blvd. Kukulcan on the lagoon side of Cancun's Hotel Zone. Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled tour time for check-in and equipment preparation.
- Late Arrivals / No-Shows: Guests who arrive late or fail to show up for their scheduled activity are not eligible for a refund.
- Physical Activity: This experience includes approximately 2 hours of kayaking. Guests should have a basic level of fitness and be comfortable with sustained physical activity.
- Minimum Age: Guests must be at least 8 years old. Children must share a double kayak with an adult and remain under adult supervision.
- Maximum Weight: Maximum weight per participant is 250 lb (115 kg).
- Health & Mobility: This tour is not recommended for pregnant guests, guests with recent surgeries, significant back problems or mobility limitations.
- Alcohol & Drugs: Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.
