Cairo – The Heart of the Arab World

A trip to Cairo by flight is an unforgettable experience. You will visit the most famous pyramids, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, and the old town of Cairo.

Hurghada – Cairo Day Trip
Your day starts early in Hurghada. You will be picked up from your hotel at 5:00 AM in a small air-conditioned bus and transferred to Hurghada Airport. From there, you take a domestic flight to Cairo, which takes approximately 50 minutes.

Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, our tour guides will be waiting for you. You will drive directly to the Giza Plateau, home of the great pyramids.

The Pyramids

Your first stop is the Great Pyramid of Cheops, a unique ancient masterpiece that has survived for millennia. Next, you will see the Pyramid of Chephren, which was originally covered with limestone. You can also visit the smaller Pyramid of Mykerinos. For an additional fee, you have the option to enter the pyramids, which also includes a visit to the Solar Boat Museum.

The Sphinx

The entire Giza Plateau is guarded by the Great Sphinx, a colossal statue with a human head and a lion’s body, measuring 73 meters long and 20 meters high! After this visit, you will drive to a local restaurant for lunch.

The Egyptian Museum

The highlight of Cairo is the Egyptian Museum, home to countless ancient artifacts. It houses more than 150,000 masterpieces, including the Rosetta Stone and the treasures of Tutankhamun.

In the afternoon, you can choose to visit Cairo’s old town, including the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar (additional charge applies).

Later in the evening, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your return flight to Hurghada. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you and accompany you back to your hotel.
