Bike tour on the trails of Pietraporciana

The Pietraporciana Nature Reserve is a place immersed in the nature of southern Tuscany, in the Valdichiana Senese, which extends into the municipalities of Chianciana Terme and Sarteano. The reserve is an uncontaminated area with more than 300 hectares of woods of various types, including a beautiful beech forest, full of hiking trails to follow in the company of an expert guide, who will accompany you on the visit of the trails, from which you can admire the Valdichiana and the neighboring Val d'Orcia from a privileged point of view. The archaeological and natural beauty of Pietraporciana

On your route of about 10 km, you will have the opportunity to admire the natural beauty of the reserve, such as the famous caves dug into the limestone rock and the “caterpillar cave”, which testify to the human presence in this territory since ancient times, with traces that suggest the bronze age. The route includes a difference in altitude of 310m, which will allow you to admire the beauty of Tuscany and the two surrounding valleys. The trails of the reserve offer two rest areas equipped to allow you to relax in the woods, in this experience you will also be delighted by a tasting of local food, great for refreshment and recharging your energy after a nice excursion in nature. At the end of the experience you will be taken back by a taxi to the starting point.
