Location
Discover Valdichiana Senese by bike through some of its most scenic routes. From the Sentiero del Nobile, which starts in Montepulciano and winds through vineyards, olive groves and rural landscapes all the way to Lake Montepulciano, to the Sentiero della Barlettaia, which leads towards Monticchiello, Pienza and the Val d’Orcia, each route offers the chance to experience the area at a slower pace. The Sentiero della Bonifica, near Chiusi, follows the Canale Maestro della Chiana along an almost entirely flat cycling and walking route, while the Pietraporciana Nature Reserve, between Valdichiana Senese and Val d’Orcia, offers trails immersed in woodland and protected nature. Four ideal experiences for those looking for trekking, hiking and cycling routes in Tuscany, surrounded by nature, historic villages and the landscapes of the Sienese countryside.
