Amazing Northern Lights with snowmobiles (Small group)

Join us for a magical Aurora hunt with snowmobiles! This adventure goes through the Lapland’s beautiful frozen river surrounded by pristine forests and to on top of a fell, 30 km away from the city and other tour groups. The dark forest is full of magic, with the light of the snowmobiles shining on the snow. On the way we make stops to see if we could catch the Northern Lights and you can take pictures on your device to save the memories forever! During the adventure, you can also try out snowshoeing in the untouched, snowy nature.

Before the departure, our guide gives you guidance on driving the snowmobile, so no previous experience needed! Driving a snowmobile is easy to learn but requires a valid driving license from everyone hopping to the driver’s seat. Please take your license or a picture of your license with you to the safari. 

Total duration: 3,5 hours (incl. transfers)

Program duration: 2,5 hours

What is included: Thermal clothing (overalls, shoes, gloves, balaclava), guidance in English/Finnish, snowmobiles, helmets, campfire treats, traffic insurance (maximum personal liability €1000).

Available: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 20.00-00.00 (1.12.2023 - 30.3.2024, depending on the snow situation).

Price: 189 €/ adult and 139 €/ child (4-12 years). Solo driver + 50 € extra/ adult. Not recommended for children under 4-years-old.

Transfer: 30 €/reservation, from 1.12.2024 40 €/ reservation.

To drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license is required. Minimum participant number 2 persons, maximum 10 persons.

Pick-up points: Santa Claus Holiday Village, Husky Park and Glass Resort at around 19:30, Hostel Café Koti at around 19:40.

Meeting point: Hotel Metsähirvas at 20:00.
