Itinerary:


Day 1 begins with pickup from Darwin and travel into Kakadu National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Anbangbang Billabong with views towards Burrunguy (Nourlangie Rock), before exploring its ancient rock art galleries. Continue to Gunwhardewharde Lookout for sweeping views over the Arnhem Land escarpment. In the afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour sunset cruise on Yellow Water Billabong, home to crocodiles, lotus lilies, and abundant birdlife. Overnight in Kakadu accommodation.


Day 2 is dedicated to Kakadu’s spectacular waterfalls. Travel to Gunlom Falls and hike to the top pools for a swim in natural infinity pools overlooking southern Kakadu, or relax at the lower plunge pool. Continue to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), where a short hike through paperbark forest leads to a pristine swimming hole surrounded by cliffs. Overnight in Kakadu (Jabiru or surrounding region).


Day 3 begins with a journey to the East Alligator River region before visiting Ubirr, one of Australia’s most iconic rock art sites. Climb to the lookout for 360° views over the Nardab floodplains and Arnhem Land. On the return to Darwin, stop at Mamukala Wetlands for birdwatching and final views of Kakadu’s unique landscape before arriving in the late afternoon.

Returns: Darwin approximately 5:00pm on Day 3
